Are kids allowed on SUP?

Absolutely! Kids can paddle alongside a parent or guardian — or they can ride on a parent or guardian’s board. If you’re planning on paddling with kids, it’s best to make sure that there aren’t any high winds on the day of your rental.

Can I rent more than one board?

With one reservation, you can book a maximum of 5 paddleboards. When you're renting more than one board, you need to enter the details of all participants.

Can I rent when a board if I’m newbie?

Sure! If you feel brave and adventurous, then yes! We have made it easy with stable paddleboards and footprints on the board, showing you the right location to be either on your knees or standing. However, if it's your first time paddleboarding, we suggest joining one of our guided tours. Our experienced instructors lead the tours and give basic training and instructions at the start of each tour.

How can I access equipments?

  1. USE OUR WEB APPLICATION Go to app.suppama.com to rent
  2. LOGIN / SIGN-UP Register or login if you are an existing user. Alternatively you can skip the login and search for the nearby sup station. Make sure you turn on the geo-location feature on your phone to locate the nearest sup station and events.
  3. RENT A SUP Choose the SUP quantity and desired rental session length and proceed to payment options. You can anytime change or add payment methods by simply going to your profile. After completing the transaction process, you will be notified about the confirmation via SMS along with the locker details and access pin.
  4. GET YOUR SUP Open the locker door through the app or by entering the PIN code received via SMS on the machine's screen. Then, take the equipment from the locker and leave personal belongings inside. After taking the equipment out, please close the locker and enjoy your session.

How can I cancel?

We are refunding 90% of amount if booking is cancelled greater than 30 min of booking start time. If less than 30 min, we are not refunding any amount. For events, if you cancel 24 hours in advance, you will get a 90% refund. If it's less than 24 hours, then there's no refund.

How can I pay for the reservation in the app?

Payment is done only through the app, no cash needed. When making a reservation in the app, you will need to enter your valid credit/debit card details. Payment is processed as a prepayment, and the app accepts both credit and debit cards.

How do I know if my rental is finished?

After you finish your rental session, you can open the app again and check the status of your rental. If it says "Completed," then your rental session has been successfully finished. If the rental session status still shows "Active," you should open the locker again. Make sure you put the equipment in the right places with the correct numbers, so the scanner can recognize them. Then you can close the locker and keep an eye on the app to see any changes in your rental session.

How long does a session normally last?

The reservation period can be a maximum of 6 hours long. We recommend booking a session of at least 2 hours, so you don't have to hurry.

How long in advance do I need to book my rental?

In the app, you can choose a suitable date and time for your rental. The reservation starts from the date and time you select in the app. Pre-booking is not mandatory, and you can also book on the spot if equipment is available.

How much does it cost to rent?

The fee for the first hour is 15 EUR per board, and each additional hour is 10 EUR. If you exceed the booking period, an additional charge of 15 EUR per hour will apply, as other users may be waiting for their turn. After 6 hours, if the equipment remains unreturned, we will send the user a warning via SMS and also display it in their account. Should the user ignore the warning, Suppama reserves the right to claim the full set's value, which amounts to 850 EUR.

How to return the equipment?

1. OPEN THE DOOR There are three options to open the door - activate the scanner from the screen and place the paddle blade against it, hold it until the door opens, open the door using the PIN code, or do it through the app. 2. PLACE ITEMS IN THE RIGHT SPOTS Make sure you returned the equipment to the locker according to their numbered slots. Take your personal belongings from the locker. 3. CLOSE THE DOOR 4. ENSURE YOUR SESSION IS ENDED Check from the app that your rental session has been properly ended, and then enjoy the rest of your day!

Is dog allowed on SUP?

Yes, dogs are welcome. Remember, bringing your dog onboard is entirely at your own responsibility. Also, ensure your dog's safety and, if needed, provide a dog life jacket. If the dog damages the equipment in any way, you are also responsible.

What happens if it’s raining at the time of my reservation?

Don't worry about the weather; a little rain won't cause any harm 🙂 If the trip does not take place due to bad weather conditions, we will refund the participation fee or plan the trip for a new day.

What if I am late with returning the equipment?

In the app, you can extend a rental session once for one hour. If you decide to extend the session, the same conditions apply as if you had originally booked a longer session, which means an additional 10€ per hour. However, if you don't extend the session and go beyond the reserved time, our system may reserve the locker for the next customer who can't start on time. In that case, you will need to pay the first hour's fee for a new rental session, which is 15€.

What should I wear?

Wear whatever will make you comfortable on the water, given the conditions on the day of your rental. Wearing something that you don’t mind getting soaking wet in is a good idea, on the off chance that you fall in. Swimwear or board shorts are great options — and water shoes are nice to wear if you own a pair.

Where can I leave my valuables while I’m out on the water?

We have secure shelves in each rental locker where you can leave your personal belongings. But please make a note that, we do not take responsibility for the loss or damage of your belongings. Leaving personal items in the locker is at your own risk.
